What is a Blue Star Mother?
A Mother or Stepmother (since the child was of the age of 13) who has a son or daughter who is serving, or has been honorably discharged from the Armed Forces of the United States. The Gold Star Mothers of New Hampshire whose membership consists of mothers who have lost a son or daughter in the service of our country. Our organization consists of local mothers, fathers, family members and friends who have lost a loved one in service to our country.
Our Gold Star Mother memorial stands proudly in Stanton Plaza on Elm St, Manchester, NH.
If you've lost your child and would like the community of others in your situation, we invite you to join us. No one knows how you feel like another mother who has lost a child.

My Personal Heroes
Grandpa, served his country for 35 Years. He earned the rank of Master Sargent, fought in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam, to name a few. He was the Asst. Director of MARS, Military Affiliate Radio Systems, in charge of communications throughout England. He was also responsible for the rescue of missionaries in the Belgian Congo. He came home as a Wounded Warrior, earning the Bronze Star and the Medal of Commendation for Heroic and Meritorious Service.
